Organisers

The Castlefinn Partnership Initiative Ltd. (CPI) is an umbrella organisation established in 1999 to represent the interests of the various community groups in the Castlefinn area. Having conducted a community needs survey to identify the needs of the local community a ten strong committee was established to action the initiative and produced a series of aims and objectives to promote and enhance Castlefinn and its environs.

In 2008, Castlefinn was the winner of the Donegal Pride of Place competition and represented the county in the national awards winning its category. The CPI group has successfully completed all phases of its development project and boasts a wide range of services and facilities. Health services, childcare and training facilities, a multi-purpose hall, outdoor children's play area and the development of a recreational space are a testament to the drive, passion and commitment of the voluntary community group who serve on the CPI committee.

The 2012 Northwest Garden Show comes on the back of a tremendously successful 2011 event which enjoyed terrific weather, great attendances across the 2-day event (over 13,000 visitors) and the organisers look forward to surpassing the 2011 event and delivering another great show.
