Floristry Competitions


New for 2012 the Floristry Competition is open to both experienced florists as well as those just starting in the industry. The competition is split into two categories.


Novice: Ladies Corsage & Gentleman's Buttonhole


  • Entries must consist of a corsage and buttonhole

  • The corsage can be designed either to be worn on the lapel, wrist or handbag

  • There is NO size restriction

  • The use of other materials such as beads, wire, ribbon etc. is permitted


Open Class: Limited Bridal Bouquet


  • The Bridal bouquet should be created using no more than 7 flowers and can include unlimited foliage

  • There is NO size restriction

  • Any construction is permitted: wired, in foam or hand-tied

  • The use of other materials such as beads, wire, ribbon etc. is permitted
