Team Garden Challenge

About the Challenge

The Team Challenge is an opportunity for companies, schools, community groups, local business and individuals to form a team and work together to create a garden based on their interpretation of the theme 'Rock'.

Open Class: Team Challenge
Open to all groups, societies, clubs businesses and gardening enthusiasts.

The exhibit must not exceed 3m x 2m

Team Challenge Rules:

  •  Each exhibit which must bear a title, be practical, of strong design. It must comprise of predominantly living plant material with hard/soft landscaping components such as rockery stones, ornaments or other props being kept to a minimum.

  • Plant material may overhang the collar within reasonable distance.

  • The use of recycled materials is promoted.

  • The exhibit must be designed to be viewed from a distinguishable front.

  • The use of a backdrop is permitted within stated dimensions.

  • Competitors must provide a brief overview of the exhibit including the names of the plants used, and/or useful information.

  • Competitors must be available to assemble and break down their exhibit as guided by the event organisers.

  • Competitors will also be responsible for transporting their exhibit material to and from the event site.

Exhibits must be collected by all competitors at the end of the Northwest Garden Show. (No later than Monday 28th May, 2012.)
