The show will be action-packed, full of fun and entertaining attractions and gives visitors access to everything they need to create their own magical outdoor space.
This year the 10,000 sq.ft. Indoor Exhibition Arena will house the floral pavilion and the new and exciting Trash 'n' Fashion event. The 8-acre Outdoor Exhibition Arena will cater for up to 140 unique exhibitors spread right around the grounds showcasing a myriad of products and services with something to interest everyone and will feature all gardening/outdoor living paraphernalia including:
- Gardening care products/equipment
- Gardening machinery and tool hire
- Nursery stock, bedding, young plants, flowers, fruit trees, herbs, sundries
- Outdoor living essentials
- Garden Challenge competitions from novice to professional

Come along to meet, greet and pluck the top tips from our plethora of top gardeners who will be providing practical hints, and expert advice on planting and general gardening queries such as Tim Austen, Janice Campbell and a host of top local and national experts.
Family Fun Zone
The Family Fun Zone has a vast selection box of activities to provide hours of fun and entertainment for all ages, young & old:

- Small animals, birds of prey and other furry friends

Farmers Market, Craft Fayre & Artisan Food Marquee
This year visitors can enjoy a traditional farmers market in a dedicated outdoor marquee, sampling the best of homemade-homegrown resources presented by local farmers, while nurturing local businesses.
This year will also showcase exclusive creations from the Northwest's talented and local crafts people in our crafts fayre hosted in a dedicated outdoor marquee.
There will also be the arrival of the new Artisan Food Marquee sampling the best of high quality local produce.
Fresh from the Garden live
Brian Mc Dermott
Ireland's first Community Chef Brian Mc Dermott will once again be cooking up a storm at this year's event demonstrating his award winning talent. Brian has recently been awarded with the National Pride of Place Award representing Donegal. The passionate chef has been cooking professionally for 18 years, and spent most of his career on the Inishowen Peninsula where he owned his own award-winning restaurant "Finnegan's".
At the Northwest Garden Show 2012 he will demonstrate recipes using the finest of fresh local produce, serve up some savory samples and provide top tips and techniques on improving your diet, reducing salt and growing your own.
HSE's Health Promotion Unit and Donegal County Council who will be on site promoting their "green gym" programme, and reduce food waste initiative. The programme is a great hit with school children and is designed to encourage participant's get fit and healthy through gardening. The allotments at the CPI complex are an ideal example of "community gardening" providing participants with a practical, fun and sustainable source of healthy local food, real exercise and community spirit.
